Our NetSuite address validation integration helps alleviate this potential problem for U.S.-based addresses, eliminate any adverse impacts downstream, and promote successful item fulfillment in NetSuite. Altogether, the address verification application ensures that:
- The city, state, and zip code fields are all populated.
- Only valid US states are included.
- Valid zip code values consist of either 5 or 9 digits (ZIP+4)
- The state and zip code combination is valid using a cross-validation process.
By incorporating these simple address validations prior to uploading a spreadsheet with numerous ship-to addresses to NetSuite, our application helps to ensure that each of the products reaches its intended destination and is charged the correct sales tax.
