Introduction
This week’s article is relevant if you are promotional products supplier running on the NetSuite platform and also are subscribed to ASI’s Connect™ service to gain access to industry-specific credit data on over 22,000 ASI distributors. Normally, a supplier company would have to login to their ASI Supplier Dashboard to view such information.
For those suppliers running on the NetSuite platform, eXtendTech has designed and built a simple plug-in that helps bring ASI’s connect service into the NetSuite ERP platform. This helps to provide your NetSuite users with quick-access to critical credit information. With greater and easer access to this data, users can better manage receivables and make informed decisions about setting customer credit term and credit limits.
How exactly does it work?
When our bundle is initially installed into NetSuite and a user navigates to a customer record, they will see a Credit Connect tab. Located under this tab, the user will be able to see at-a-glance credit score, have links to view a detailed credit report or summary report and even be able to call out for the customer’s latest credit score.
As you can see in the above screen, the distributor customer’s credit score is shown with a green visual indicator that shows that the distributor’s credit is above average.
In situations where the customer’s credit is below average, the red visual indicator sends a clear signal that further review of the distributor’s credit report may be in order.
Under this tab, a user can also easily see the last time the supplier called-out to ASI for a credit score update. With the click of a button, they can easily trigger an update to obtain up-to-date information. Better yet, why not schedule an automated workflow and have NetSuite do the work for you?!
Finally, the user has available hyperlinks to view either a credit summary or detailed credit report to view the detailed information on the distributor customer.
